We support open experimentation and multi-disciplinary arts with a strong focus on movement. The studio is available to rent for rehearsal, class, showings, etc.
STUDIO ACCESS
Open Arts Studio is the company’s artistic home. Artistic Director Laura Peterson creates evening-length dance installations that challenge the limits of physicality and re-frame performance spaces.

EDUCATION
This tuition-free youth dance company provides opportunities for creative collaboration through classes and performances with local teens. Established in 2024 with support from Brooklyn Arts Council.
Open Arts Studio Company
Open Arts seeks to bring educational opportunities to populations who may be new to dance. We teach dance and art for all ages, backgrounds, identities, abilities, and skill levels.
Classes
Open Arts Studios values the free flow of ideas and community exchange of all types. This can include informal showings, small gallery events, and discussions.
EXCHANGE
Open Arts Studio will provide opportunities for movement and art to people who may not be able to travel to the studio. We will offer on-site classes at senior centers, recreation centers, schools, and other locations.
