SUPPORT OUR TEEN COMPANY THIS FALL!

Open Arts Studio Company (OASCo) is a core program of our organization. Founded with a grant from the Brooklyn Arts Council this program is entirely tuition-free. We are asking for your tax-deductible contributions today!

Company members study contemporary dance technique, create and perform choreography, and work with innovative guest artists. Artistic Director and Choreographer Laura Peterson and Rehearsal Director Sofia Quezaire work with company members to create an original work .

OASCo provides real-world experience in a pre-professional company setting, preparing young artists for future professional endeavors - dance prepares our youth to become active citizens, work collaboratively, listen, be accountable and focus. But most of all create and perform DANCE!

This program is essential to our mission to make arts education affordable, accessible, and open for ALL.

What does Open Arts Studio Company mean to you?

In order to continue to provide our important programs it takes multiple income sources.
We keep this going not only through grants and studio income, but also YOUR donations.
Here are a variety of costs that you can support through a contribution.

$100 supports 6 hours of rehearsal space.
$50 pays our garbage removal fee for one month. Boring but essential, right?

$70 pays for one month of business internet service.
$125 pays for an average month of electricity.
$500 pays for the studio space for our teen dance company
$650 supports 2 full company rehearsals of Laura Peterson Choreography.
