LAURA PETERSON’S new work Beyond, is about the wild weather patterns caused by climate change and with funding from Brooklyn Arts Council will be performed in Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Peterson is a NYC-based dance artist creating visually arresting installations and rigorous choreography. Her performances have included large scale paintings, 1000 sq ft of living lawn, 16 ft tall paper sculptures, and other giant structures.

Peterson’s works have been performed throughout New York City and nationally at venues including a MoMA performance event, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out, and internationally.
